Money Orders service
Domestic money orders are payment orders issued from post offices and by which money is exchanged between one person and another (physically or morally).

The transfer is renewed after the expiry date of a fee.

A second copy of the transfer can be requested in case the first was lost or damaged, under the condition that the fees are already paid.

The settlement can be organized after the transfer is withdrawn within time validation

The maximum domestic mail transfer is of LBP3,000,000.

The transfer is only paid to the person mentioned on it or to a person representing him by law (by a notary or postal assignment).

The transfer is valid for payment within 2 months for civilians, and 3 months for military, public institutions, departments and municipalities.

When validity period is over, the beneficiary must pay the fee of renewal, equivalent to the commission fee of the whole duration or part of it.

Renewing fees should not exceed half of the amount and is not less than LBP5,000.

With time, the value of transfers that have been drawn 2 years drops starting the second day of withdrawal.
