Track and Trace
Libanpost has launched its Track and Trace service, backed by the Quality of Service Fund (QSF), especially established to support postal services in developing countries.
This project aims to first computerize the registered mail section and second to enable Libanpost to track and trace the items and ensure the liability and treatment of the mail.
Advantages of the service:
1-Improvement of the mail follow-up service.
2-Reduction in operational costs by saving time and manpower assigned to the service.
3-An overall increase of confidence in the products offered.
4-The system installation enables us to trace registered mail parcels, bags and dispatches.
5-This system will serve the international registered mail sent to and from Lebanon.
Electronic P.O.D. (Proof of Delivery)
Electronic P.O.D. is a positive affirmation of delivery through the destination and the name and signature of the recipient on a hand held terminal.
Advantages of the service:
1-Reducing time spent on filling out delivery forms
2-The ability to control the number of items sent, received and returned through the mail.
3-The ability to trace and locate the position of an item.
Service Center:
The Electronic P.O.D. service is available through the Revenue Verification Unit (RVU) in the Beirut Sorting Center via an electronic file provided by the sender.
Tariffs:
The fee is 500LL in addition to any clearing costs.
